These are some of the oldest crystals known to man, estimated to be about 1.2-1.5 billion years old. The only place these stones are found is North of Lake Superior in Ontario, Canada. The name comes from the 23 different minerals contained in these stones. Those minerals (aside from the base mineral, Amethyst) are Gold, Silver, Nickel, Copper, Limonite, Iron, Covellite, Sphalerite, Chalcopyrite, Epidote, Gilalite, Bornite, Rutile, Goethite, Pyrolusite, Pyrite, Magnetite, Lepidocrocite, Ajoite, Hematite, Titanite and cacoxenite. Auralite 23 is revered for its ability to facilitate deep spiritual growth, healing, and connection to higher realms. Its energy is said to help open and balance the chakras, especially the Crown and Third Eye Chakras, promoting clarity, intuition, and spiritual awareness.
